I hate those [censored] mosquitoes. I have been bitten all over. I look like an exhibit of an Itchy and Scratchy Show. They do not suppose to bite through socks, trousers and long sleeves, or through mosquito cream for that matter. Unfortunately, no one informed them about it. There are anti-mosquito plugs in every room. I am covered in Odomos. Still I am being made into a gourmet meal by those silent killers. Unlike good old Russian mosquitoes these don't make any noise. You only know you've been bitten when you start scratching furiously. I absolutely hate them as they are making my life miserable.
On a more positive note we abandoned Little Munchkin and went to Cochin yesterday. We had to take Big Munchkin with us as her grandparents decided that they can't handle both of them for that long. We went to see Chinese fishing nets in Fort Cochin and did a bit of tourist shopping. Big Munchkin got nice silver bracelets with little bells in them. I got a few overpriced trinkets including a very natural looking wooden snake. Our Indian Grandma was not impressed. She actually had a point about not allowing Big Munchkin to play with it. If the real snake wonders into the house Big Munchkin might just try to grab and play with it. Not a good idea. So, the new toy snake has been packed away to await our return to London.
We went for a nice lunch to Grand Hotel. Fish and chips we ordered for Big Munchkin should have been a hit, unfortunately, that baby decided to go for a nap after three french fries right in the middle of a restaurant. At least, we had our meal in peace and silence.
In the evening we went to the local beach. It was not as busy as usual. The water was a bit dirty, still Big Munchkin had a great time wetting her feet and drawing in the sand.
